
《第3届“为坐而设计”大奖赛》作品征集
一、竞赛主题 “绿色奥运”“人文奥运”“科技奥运”是2008年北京奥运会倡导的精神。《第3届 “为坐而设计”大奖赛》在延续以往两届大奖赛的设计理念——“原创设计,为坐而设计”的基础上,还将与北京奥运同唱一个主题,将“绿色”、“人文”、“科技 ”的理念渗透到“为坐而设计”这一设计主题中。以一种研究和探讨人类未来可持续性发展的姿态,将设计行为建立在环保型造物原则的基础之上,在预想或特定的生活、工作、娱乐、休闲环境下,人的行为方式与具有环保意义和环保科技含量的坐具形态产生互动。同时充分挖掘地域性造物特点,丰富人文造物精神内涵,也是本届大赛选评的重点之一。

三、参赛规则 1、设计作品必须具有原创性。 2、设计作品必须体现环保性。
四、参赛资格 本次竞赛欢迎世界范围内的设计院校、商业机构和个人参赛。参赛者可以以个人或团队名义参赛。
五、大赛时间表 1、作品征集:即日起至2007年6月30日 2、初赛评审:2007年6月30日至2007年7月20日 3、初赛结果及决赛入选名单公布:2007年7月25日在www.d9design.com网站上 4、实物模型制作:2007年7月25日至2007年9月20日 5、实物模型提交:参加决赛的实物模型2007年10月1日前送抵北京中央美术学院 6、作品展览及终评:2007年11月1日至11月8日作品于中央美术学院评展。
六、参赛要求及作品提交 1、初赛作品要求: 参赛者须提交作品的设计图纸和报名表。 1)设计图纸:每个设计方案以效果图、三视图、200字内设计说明方式提交,并排版于1张A3(420mm×297mm)横向版面内。版面内除标注设计名称外,不得出现作者姓名和与作者相关的其它信息。 2)报名表:参赛者须填写报名表(报名表请在www.d9design.com下载)。每一个设计方案须填写一张报名表。报名表中使用的设计名称须与该方案名称一致。在方案提交时,将报名表粘贴于作品版面背面。 3)作品提交截止时间为:2007年6月30日。 2、初赛作品提交方式: 将参赛的设计方案版面和报名表的打印件,用特快专递的方式寄往: 北京市朝阳区花家地南街8号 中央美术学院设计学院 第3届“为坐而设计”大奖赛组织委员会 收 邮政编码:100102 3、决赛作品要求 入围决赛阶段的作品,必须提交1:1的实物模型。实物模型必须在2007年10月1日前运抵组委会(中央美术学院设计学院)。同时需以光盘形式提交五张模型制作的工作照片(300 dpi,未压缩的jpg格式)。

九、知识产权条例 1、所有参赛作品必须是具有作者独立知识产权的、未发表过的原创作品。否则引起的法律纠纷及其责任由作者本人承担。组委会将取消作品的参赛资格。 2、谢绝一稿多投,一经发现,组委会将取消作品的参赛资格。 3、组委会保留对大赛条款的最终解释权。

Third Design for Sitting Competition Call for Entries
1. Concept In line with the spirit of “Green Olympics, Hi-tech Olympics and People’s Olympics” of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the third Design for Sitting Competition will pursue the Olympic theme while furthering the ideas of the previous competitions – Original Design and Design for Sitting. The competition promotes a design that facilitates future sustainability, and an environment friendly object-making that prompts the interaction between human behaviour and the sitting tools in a preconceived or specific living, working, entertainment or leisure circumstances. The competition also aims at tapping the features and potentials of local object-making.

3. Rules 3.1 All entries must be original. 3.2 All entries must be environment friendly
4. Qualification The competition is open for design institutions, commercial organizations and individuals. Both individual and group entries are accepted.
5. Competition Schedule 5.1 Call for entries: by June 5th, 2007 5.2 Preliminary jurying: June 5th to June 20th, 2007 5.3 Announcement for preliminary stage winners: June 25th, 2007 5.4 Model making: June 25th 2007 to Sept. 20th 2007 5.5 Submission of 1:1 scale model: before Oct 1st 2007 5.6 Exhibition and final jurying: Nov 1st - Nov. 8th, 2007 at CAFA.
6. Entries
6.1 Requirements for preliminary stage entries All entries must submit design drawings and the registration form. 6.1.1 Each entry must include effect drawing, three view drawing and a statement of design within 200 words, on an A3 (420mmX297mm) paper in horizontal display. No information other than the entry title shall appear on the entry page. No designer name or other information that may indicate the identity of the designer shall appear on the page. 6.1.2 Application Form All entries must submit a registration form (registration form can be downloaded from www.d9design.com). Each entry must submit one form. The title of the entry in the application form must be the same as the title on the entry page. Upon submission, please attach the registration form on the opposite side of the entry page. 6.1.3 Deadline for submission: June 5th, 2007

6.3 Requirements for final stage entries Entries in the final stage must be submitted as 1:1 scale model. The model must arrive at the organization committee at CAFA before Oct. 1st 2007. The final entries are also requested to submit five working photos on model making (300 dpi, uncompressed jpg format) in a CD.
