Introduction of designer
Smith Chow is the Art Director of Artmen. He graduated from Hu Bei Art College in 1996, and started to work on metal art and sculpture in 1999. He is not only a blacksmith, but also an artist and a designer. He has taken part in many metal design activities in the areas of hotel, landscape, public art and real estate. His designs focus on the appreciation of the value of artworks themselves and the spirit within the artworks. He stands for the point of view that breaks the boundaries among design, handicraft and art, and he tries to rediscover the profound vitality of traditional art. He is thinking and exploring the developing direction of modern Chinese aesthetics. His artworks have been collected by home and abroad culture institutions and individuals.
