阿斯特丽.斯瓦罗于2004年在巴塞罗那建立了自己的设计与艺术指导工作室。

Astrid Stavro established her own design and art direction practice in Barcelona in 2004.
Her RCA graduating degree project, the Art of the Grid notepads, have been exhibited in the Modernism exhibition at the V&A in 2006 and are now considered a design classic.
Astrid writes for several journals including Creative Review, Grafik, Étapes and Elephant. She also co-runs the publishing house Infolio, specialized in books on graphic design. She has lectured internationally and has been a visiting professor in editorial design at IDEP 2008-2010 and an external examiner at EINA, Barcelona. She has been Jury Member for several national and international awards including D&AD and Laus. The studio’s work has been recognized with more than 100 international awards.
Her work has been featured extensively in the press, including Creative Review, Eye, Wallpaper, Grafik, I.D., Step and Étapes, amongst many other major international publications, leading to extensive profiles in Grafik and Creative Review, 2009. Work also featured in books by Phaidon (selected by Irma Boom for Area 2), Die Gestalten Verlag, Thames&Hudson, Index Books and Laurence King. She has been called ‘the Irma Boom of Spain for her amazing book design' by Grafik magazine.
Astrid has earned more than 80 awards in less than four years. These include 3 D&AD In-Book Nominations, 5 Gold and 24 Silver Laus Awards, 2 ISTD Premier Awards and one Silver (2009), Platinum and Gold at Graphis Design Awards New York (2008), Distinctive Merit at Art Directors Club of New York (2008), Gold Award at Art Directors Club of Europe (2006), Gold at the Design Week Awards (2007), The Creative Review Annual (2008/10) and a Nomination at the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany (2010).
