城市中严重的汽车尾气污染，不仅夺走了昔日的蓝天，威胁到人体的健康，也使人们对未来的生活感到沮丧。“会呼吸的灯-1”正是基于这一问题而提出的解决方案。该设计源于植物的“呼吸作用”和“光合作用”。它以太阳能和风能为动力，一方面将城市中的“尾气”吸入“体内”，经“空气净化装置”转变成清洁空气后排出“体外”；另一方面通过顶端的LED照明装置为城市提供高效的照明。“会呼吸的灯-2”是一个延展方案，其特点在于它的扇叶具有显像功能。扇叶中心的“摄像头”可以捕捉到附近人的动态，然后通过体内的微处理，将相应的图像动态地显示在扇叶上，实现人和物的“交互感应”。

The design originates from the “respiratory function” and “photosynthesis” of plants. It is powered by solar energy and wind energy, and inhales urban “exhaust” inside on the one hand, and discharges clean air outside through conversion by the “air purifying device”. On the other hand, it provide highly-efficient lamination for the urban areas with the LED lighting device at the top. “Breathing Lamp-2” is an extension program, which is characteristic of the image displaying function of its fans. The “video camera” in the center of the fans can capture the movements of people nearby, and dynamically display the corresponding images on the fans to realize “interactive induction” between people and objects.
