清华大学美术学院信息艺术设计系教授、博士生导师。中国美术家协会动漫艺术委员会副主任、文化部扶持动漫产业部际联席专家委员会专家委员。动画片《学问猫教汉字》获1998年亚洲电视最佳少儿节目奖，插图获第三届全国连环画绘画创作二等奖。2005年设计2008年北京奥运会吉祥物，2006年设计残奥会吉祥物福牛“乐乐”。2007年获中国创意产业杰出贡献奖。2008年获北京市政府、北京奥组委授予北京奥运会、残奥会特别荣誉奖；2008年获中国国际漫画节中国漫画杰出贡献奖。

Professor and doctoral tutor of Information Art Design Department of Art Academy at Tsinghua University, His animation Learned Cat Teach Chinese Characters won the Asian Television Award of the best program for children. He designed the Mascots for the 2008 Olympic Games and the mascot cow “Lele” for Paralympics Games. In 2008，he was awarded by the Beijing Municipal Government and Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee with the Special Honor Award of Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics Games. he also won the award for his outstanding contribution to Chinese animation in the China International Comic Art Festival.
