Nuno Correia is a musician and new media designer. He has collaborated in several new media exhibitions, publications and online projects. He has started a doctoral program in new media in Finland (Media Lab, University of Arts and Design Helsinki), further developing investigation combining music and interactive visual media.

> Nuno Correia was born in Porto, Portugal in 1972. Lives in Lisbon since 1995. Studied International Relations (Universidade do Minho, 1990-1994) and worked in that area for 6 years.
> Meanwhile, developed activities in music, theatre and comics (co-founder Epitafio and Quadrado magazines; co-organizer Oporto International Comics Festival in 1993, 1995). Studied music, theatre, illustration, design.

> In 2000, made a career change towards multimedia design. Started teaching, in universities and other courses. Started a freelance multimedia design activity. Started the music project Coden.
> In 2004, finished his MSc, with the thesis "Multimedia em Portugal: Dinamicas de Inovacao" (Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestao). Worked in innovation consulting with thesis supervisor Manuel Mira Godinho.
> Also in 2004, teamed up with Andre Carrilho (illustrator/designer/animator) to develop interactive/generative visuals under the name Video Jack.
> In 2006, launched "Heat Seeker" CD/DVD, under the name Coden. The DVD was directed by Video Jack.

Video Jack are André Carrilho and Nuno Correia. Since 2004, Video Jack try to push the boundaries of VJing, incorporating innovative visual solutions. They also direct videos, design websites, DVDs, and develop interactive visuals for events. Video Jack are resident VJs at Lux (one of Lisbon's most well-known clubs). Video Jack have performed outside Portugal, namely in New York (Share) and Barcelona (Music Network).
