9th Simorgh International Festival 英文征集函
General rules
All participants must be either an undergraduate or a graduate after 2016 and send the picture of their university cards.
According to the festival regulations, the festival secretariat would have the full authority to take legal actions against those applicants whose documents have been falsified. Those participants will be in full charge.
Subject priorities for the international section of the festival:
The theme of the festival is the maintenance and improvement of physical, mental, social and spiritual health including:
The importance of improving education on health
Studying the consequences of social damages and their effects on health
Healthy lifestyle and the acquisition of skills for better life
Mental health, expansion of happiness and exercise of restraint against stretched tight behaviors and environments
Recover after chronical diseases or disabilities
Happy and hopeful life
Mental health and its significant effect on the increase of life quality
Attention to fatal diseases and suggesting approaches for prevention
Film
This section, consisting of short film and animation, aims at extending support for the student production as well as recognizing the young talents in the field under the theme of "The Culture of Heath".
Requirements:
Films lacking technical standards will be omitted
Films should have English subtitle
The production year should be after the January 2015
More than one film could be sent from one filmmaker in different sections
Filmmakers aiming to attend the festival with several films should fill out different submission form in our website
Festival secretariat accepts no responsibility for the damages incurred during the shipment
Filmmakers could not cancel after their film enters the competition section
Films not following the announced theme will be omitted.
Those films approved by the selection committee will be sent to the jury members
There is no limitation in quantity for those interest to attend the festival
Awards for short film competition
The best short film, festival Trophy along with the honorary diploma and cash Prize.
The best Director, festival Trophy along with the honorary diploma and cash Prize.
The best Screenplay, festival Trophy along with the honorary diploma and cash Prize.
Awards for the animation
The best animation; festival Trophy along with honorary diploma and cash Prize

Poster
This section aims at producing outstanding works as well as recognizing the young talents under the theme of " The Culture of Health" in poster section
Requirements
There is no limitation in choosing the technique
Each applicant could submit at most three works
Size must be minimum A3 and maximum 100*70
Copied works would be rejected
Works should follow 300dpi resolution and TIF or JPEG format
In case jury members ask for PSD, attendees must provide
Works not following the theme would be omitted.
Works having the following features would be in priority:
Using a proper contrast, combination of colors
Aesthetics and semantics
Form of technique and use of proper elements to convey the meaning
Required documents to participate in the festival:
- Applicants must first fill in the festival registration form and enter their personal information at festival website.
- Submitted works must be in high quality and resolution
- Submission of the works at festival webpage will suffice and there is no need for print
Awards for poster section
First winner; Festival Trophy along with honorary diploma and cash Prize
2nd winner; honorary diploma and cash Prize
3rd winner; honorary diploma and cash Prize
Photo
This section aims at producing outstanding works as well as recognizing the young talents under the theme of " The Culture of Health" in photo section.
Each applicant could submit at most three photos
All photos in all genres and with all subjects could enter the competition including portrait, nature, sightings, architecture, social, documentary, ethics, etc., .
Photos must have the quality of 300 DPI and must be maximum 10 MB. They must be submitted at festival website.
Sent photos must not have signature, name, watermark, date, logo, margin or any other sigh in them.
Festival secretariat will not accept photomontage, panorama or collage
Works not following the festival theme would be omitted
Photos must have title
Information about the place and time of photography along with the type of camera must be mentioned when registering at the festival webpage
In case the quality of the photos are not proper for books or exhibitions, major files in high quality will be requested and the applicants must provide asap.
Works having the following feature would be in priority:
Conforming to the basic standards of photography
Proper quality and photo processing
Photos following the theme along with high technical quality
Creativity and innovation
Use of technique with highest precision
Having high accuracy in conveying the message
