石民勇，博士、教授、动画学专业博士生导师，现任中国传媒大学动画与数字艺术学院副院长、中国传媒大学学术委员会委员、中国传媒大学动画技术研究所所长，曾担任中国软件行业协会游戏分会动漫游戏专业委员会副主任等社会兼职。
    曾在中国科学院软件研究所博士后流动站从事计算机动画技术研究，参与和主持多项国家或省部级科研项目，荣获广电总局优秀科研成果论文类一等奖和广电总局优秀科研成果项目类二等奖，发表了100多篇学术论文，其中40多篇被SCI或EI收录，以第一作者身份出版教材5部。
石民勇教授具有20多年的高校教学经历，承担过本科、硕士和博士等不同层次20多门课程的教学，内容涵盖数学、计算机科学与技术、动画和游戏等四个方面的课程。并十分重视动画教育、教学理论与实践的研究，他作为团队负责人带领的教学团队荣获北京市优秀教学团队。

PhD, professor, tutor of PhD students in animation, dean of the Animation and Digital Arts School, member of the scholarship committee of CUC, head of the CUC Animation Research Institute.
He used to study at Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Science on computer animation technics. Holding and participating many projects at the national, provincial and ministerial level. He is also winner of the SARFT.PRC research essays. He published over 100 academic essays, 40 of them got selected by SCI and EI. And author of 5 books on animation education.
Professor Shi has over 20 years of teaching experience at universities, his courses cover 20 more subjects on mathematics, computer science and technology, animation and computer games.
