讲谈社漫画学院资深讲师、日本著名漫画家， 1951年生，大学期间主修设计专业，毕业后进入某电子制造企业的设计部门从事宣传资料的设计。后进入设计公司工作，同时于月刊漫画杂志《COM》进行连载，正式成为专业漫画家经历一段时间的自由设计师身份后，再度专职漫画事业。现任专门学校漫画讲师，著有《サイファー》《駆けろ！大空》等众多作品。

Kato Hiroshi was born in 1951, professional cartoonist as well as graphics designer. Be majored in design during college life. Worked in a design department of e-manufacturing enterprise for publicity works design after graduation. While working for a design company after that, he formally became a professional cartoonist by publishing comics on the comic magazine COM. Returned in comic industry after being a free designer for a period of time. Now he teaches comics in the fachschule KFS. Famous pieces include PSYFER, Run! Ozora and so on.
