Dirk joined OgilvyOne/OgilvyInteractive Beijing in 2001 as creative director. In this role he has developed award-winning online, offline and integrated campaigns for clients such as Motorola, IBM, Audi, Cisco, Nokia, Unilever , China Mobile , Yili Milk and the UK Embassy.
His creative team at Ogilvy Beijing is amongst the highest awarded in Asia, winning a “Best of Show” at the 2003 DM Asia Awards, Gold and Silver at the Hong Kong 4As and Times Asia Pacific Award shows, a Silver DMA ECHO and the first ever Silver Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival for work done in Mainland China.
In 2004, Dirk took on the additional role of regional interactive creative director, providing the creative lead for OgilvyInteractive's 12 offices across the Asia-Pacific region.
Dirk has a strong background in design, advertising and marketing. Before his life in Ogilvy, he worked in Thailand and Germany for several advertising agencies, dot.com companies and a sportswear fashion label.
